As a lecturer and tutor on screenwriting, David has devised and taught MA, BA and short courses for: UAL, Metfilm, UCA, London Film School, NFTS, London Film Academy and Picturehouse Cinemas.
David also wrote Faintheart, a feature comedy starring Eddie Marsan for Film4.
His second feature, Containment (2016) an eerily prescient pandemic thriller, is currently on Netflix UK.
TV work includes: BBC1’s Doctors and both live action and animated series for Nickelodeon, ITV and BBC. He also wrote Living In Fear, a horror pilot for Eleven Film and Sky, directed by Rob Savage (Host, The Boogeyman).
Radio work includes: The Man In Black starring Mark Gatiss and the Radio 4 Afternoon dramas The Third Eye and The Private Eye, Andy Warhol’s Wig & The Tunnel.
He has also produced documentaries on classics of British Cinema including Brief Encounter, The Red Shoes and Hitchcock’s The 39 Steps.
He is currently developing Haven, a contemporary horror feature for Poisson Rouge Pictures, and is working again with Containment director Neil West on a new horror, Pinwheel.
