Amanda 身兼教师、教练与培训师数职,曾任职于全球各地的戏剧、影视行业及高校与艺术院校。她深耕影视表演教学领域,开创出一套整体教学法,核心是从身体出发进行训练,打造具身化的表演呈现。其教学方法源于迈克尔・契诃夫表演体系、呼吸训练法及各类身体表演技法,同时她还精通气功,并将这一技法融入演员训练课程中。
阿曼达在英国艺术院校领域拥有三十余年从业经验,曾任韦伯・道格拉斯戏剧艺术学院研究主任,还担任伦敦中央演讲与戏剧学院影视表演文学硕士、演员训练与指导文学硕士专业的首席讲师及课程负责人。她近期任教于英国皇家戏剧艺术学院,主讲影视表演课程并担任短片导演,目前是路德维希堡电影学院国际影视表演专业的课程负责人。在国际教学方面,她的足迹遍布智利、哥伦比亚、美国、泰国及欧洲多国。
作为自由职业演员指导,阿曼达曾参与《吉尼斯家族》《异形》《莫卧儿可汗》《性爱自修室》《名利场》《流人》《远大前程》《沙丘:预言》《王冠》等众多影视项目的创作。
在制片领域,她参与制作的影片曾入围曼彻斯特、伦敦、审美 aesthetica、摩纳哥、翠贝卡、圣丹斯、Underwire 等多个国际电影节。
她著有《活力表演者》(2026 年)与《影视表演技艺》(2024 年)两部著作。
As a teacher/coach/ trainer Amanda has worked in Theatre, Film, Television and at University and Conservatoire institutions nationally and internationally. She brings a specialism of working in screen contexts and has developed a holistic approach which prioritises working through the body to create embodied performances. Her method has roots in the practice of Michael Chekhov, breath work and various body based techniques. She is also a teacher of Qigong which is incorporated into her actor training.
Amanda has worked in the conservatoire sector in the UK for over three decades. She was the Director of Studies at Webber Douglas academy, Principal Lecturer and course leader of MA Acting for Screen and the MA and the Actor Training and Coaching at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. She has recently worked at RADA as a teacher in screen acting and a director of short films. Amanda is currently the course leader for the International Screen Acting programme at the Academy of Film in Ludwigsberg. Internationally she has taught extensively in Chile, Colombia, USA, Thailand and Europe.
As a freelance acting coach she has worked on many projects including The House of Guinness, Aliens, The Mogal Khan, Sex Education, Rivals, Slow Horses, Great Expectations Dune Prophecy, The Crown.
As a producer her films have screened at many Festivals, such as Manchester, London, Aesthetica, Monaco, Tribeca, Sundance, Underwire.
She is the author of The Energetic Performer (2026) And The Craft of Screen Acting (2024)
